Office of Information Security
About the Office of Information Security
The Office of Information Security is part of Information Services & Technology. The staff of InfoSec manage digital identities and account management, consult with campus departments on security best practices, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. We work closely with all the other areas of Information Services & Technology to assist them in defining and implementing best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Information systems and critical data. We also coordinate security related incident response and lead initiatives to provide ongoing end-user information security awareness training.
Some of the technology implemented by IS&T includes firewalls, endpoint detection and response, as well as server and desktop encryption.
