Please join us for this special event celebrating the 50th+ anniversary of the Nursing Program at WCU! This event is a FREE celebratory event for alumni, friends, faculty, staff, and supporters. This event will be held in the SECC building with light refreshments to celebrate this momentous occasion. Please attend to hear about the exciting programs and to see our new Immersive Learning Center.

Location: West Chester University: SECC Ballroom and Immersive Learning Center (155 University Avenue, West Chester, PA 19383)

4:00 PM: Welcome

  • Arrival and registration
  • Refreshments and hors d’oeuvres served throughout the event
  • Guests invited to:
    • View historical timeline displays
    • Interact nursing students
    • Tours of the Immersive Learning Center

4:30 – 5:15 PM – Formal Program

  • Welcome & Opening Remarks: President Bernotsky, Dean Heinerichs, Dr. Nancy Barker Department Chairperson
  • Celebrating 50+ Years of Nursing – Alumni & Faculty Panel

5:15 – 7:00 PM – Celebration & Networking

  • Casual mix-and-mingle with alumni, faculty, and students
  • Continued tours of the Immersive Learning Center
  • Celebration giveaway distribution and special announcement!
