Congratulations to the Respiratory Care program who won the 2nd Annual Healthcare Records Bowl in April 2025. This friendly competition brings together students from various health sciences programs to test their knowledge and skills in a jeopardy-style format.
Dr. Gopal Sankaran, has been invited to serve on the Editor-in-Chief Search Committee for the American Journal of Public Health (AJPH) on behalf of the American Public Health Association (APHA). This prestigious appointment reflects Dr. Sankaran’s national standing in the field of public health and his ongoing commitment to advancing public health scholarship and leadership.
Kudos to Rebecca Rich, Assistant Professor, Department of Public Health Sciences, MPH student Liz Rivera, BSPH alum Sidney Gonzalez-DiGenio, and BSPH student Aspen Goolsby, who were recently featured as guests on the Health Promotion Practice (HPP) Podcast to discuss their co-authored article, "We Don't Get Anywhere Alone: Reflections on the 2024 SOPHE Conference as a Full Circle Moment."
