Fitness Programs
Fitness programs are a great way to get involved while focusing on your personal health and wellness goals. Whether you are new to fitness or new to the University, group fitness classes provide a friendly and inclusive environment that welcomes any participant into an empowering community. Regardless of your fitness level, our nationally certified instructors are trained to provide safe, fun, and effective classes with plenty of modification options. We currently offer over 10 different formats of strength, cardio, and mobility classes including our very popular Les Mills formats of BodyPump, BodyCombat, BodyBalance, and Grit.

No-Show Policy
With the continuation of the reservation system, we will be implementing a no-show policy to prevent open spaces in classes that have waiting lists. Please make sure to remove yourself from the class on IMLeagues to avoid any of the following situations.
- After your first no-show you will receive a warning email.
- After 3 no-show's you will be restricted from registering for group fitness classes for one week.
- After 5 no-show's you will be restricted from registering for group fitness classes for one month.
RAM Group Fitness Classes
Barre is a toning, body-weight workout that engages muscles you wouldn’t normally target. With high-reps and low-impact movements, Barre is a fun and unique class set to guide you to sculpt your lower body and abs and increase your flexibility. Come join us in the studio for an empowering workout while listening to your favorite music!
LES MILLS+ BODYPUMP™ is an at home barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate free weights and a barbell with lots of repetition (800-1000 reps), BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. Feel the burn with scientifically proven moves and techniques, highly trained instructors and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the workout feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.
A cardio and strength training class based on a variety of climbs, jumps, resistance, and sprints on stationary bikes. Cycling is a great cardiovascular challenge while also improving your upper body strength with light weights. It is a moderate to intense class filled with a wide selection of upbeat music and fun choreography on the bike that motivates you to push towards your cardiovascular goals!
Take this class for a fun cardio workout to learn some self defense along with working your core, flexibility, and strength. Along with technique oriented drilling of which will help you learn the ins and outs of kickboxing.
LES MILLS GRIT™ is A 30-minutes of high-intensity interval training (HIIT), developed by experts to deliver transformative results. Featuring short, intense bursts of effort followed by periods of recovery, the scientifically structured intervals allow you push your body into your max effort training zone – and that’s where the results happen.
This class is ideal for anyone new to yoga and interested in its benefits that will help you build strength, increase flexibility, and find focus. In Vinyasa practice you can expect to focus more on stringing poses together in a seamless movement and linking breathwork. It is moderately paced, so you will learn the fundamental Yoga postures and principles that create a successful and effective mind/body practice. Vinyasa Yoga classes offer a variety of poses and no two classes are ever alike!
This class is ideal for anyone interested in the benefits of deep stretch and intuitive breathing that will help you build strength, increase flexibility, and find focus. It is moderately paced filled with calming music and dim lights to allow you to fall into a deep flow. You will learn the fundamental Yoga postures and principles that create a successful and effective mind/body practice.
Zumba is an interval-style dance fitness party that combines low-intensity and high-intensity movements. This class is designed to increase your heart rate and build cardio endurance as you move to the rhythm of the Latin-inspired dance moves. The best part is that the class creates a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness system that doesn’t even feel like exercise! (no dance experience required).
Step into a BODYCOMBAT workout, and you’ll punch and kick your way to fitness, burning up to 570 calories** along the way. This high-energy martial-arts inspired workout is totally non-contact and there are no complex moves to master. A LES MILLS™ instructor will challenge you to up the intensity and motivate you to make the most of every round. You’ll release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ.
LES MILLS BODYBALANCE® is a new-generation yoga class that will improve your mind, your body, and your life. This class includes a series of simple yoga moves, elements of Tai Chi and Pilates while an inspiring soundtrack plays in the background. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started.
Power Up is designed to give you a full-body workout that will leave you feeling strong, energized, and accomplished. This class incorporates a variety of exercises, including the use of weights and body weight movements. With a focus on strength training and HIIT (high-intensity interval training), you will be guided through each exercise, pushing you to your limits and challenging your body.
LES MILLS CORE™ is a scientific core workout for incredible core tone and sports performance. You build strength, stability and endurance in the muscles that support your core, improve balance, assist injury prevention, and become better at everything you do. During the workout, Instructors guide you through correct technique as you work with resistance tubes and weight plates, as well as bodyweight exercises like crunches, and hovers. Plus there are some hip, butt and lower back exercises too.
A slight variation to your typically cardio and strength training class to bring your ride to the next level. Rhythm Ride incorporates more choreography and higher intensity intervals for those who want to push towards that next cardiovascular challenge. The class remains based on a variety of climbs, jumps, resistance, and sprints on stationary bikes, while riding along to the rhythm of the music!
LES MILLS SPRINT™ is a 30-minute High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout, using an indoor bike to achieve fast results. It’s a short, intense style of training where the thrill and motivation comes from pushing your physical and mental limits. A high intensity, low impact workout, it's scientifically proven to return rapid results.
