My name is Kim Sulahian and this is my third year at West Chester University. I am
studying Music Education and Flute Performance with a minor in Music History. In addition
to being on the Student Advisory Board, I am currently serving as a Coordinator for
the West Chester Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band, as well as the President
for Kappa Kappa Psi, National Honorary Band Fraternity. I try to remain active in
all areas of the Wells School of Music, including participating in choir, jazz, and
small ensembles. In my time away from the School of Music, I teach with a local high
school marching band and have private flute students. I am extremely excited to get
to work with the Student Advisory Board and everyone in the Wells School of Music!
My name is Josiah and I am excited to be serving on the Student Advisory Board (SAB)
for the first time! I am a Junior Music Education major on trumpet. Along with SAB,
I am involved in other groups here at WCU such as the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching
Band (serving as a trumpet section leader), Wind Ensemble, and Trumpet Ensemble. I
also hold the secretary position in the WCU trumpet studio. I look forward to serving
with a few of my peers on the SAB to help make the WSOM a better place for students
and staff!
My name is Adrianna Korey and I am serving as the Graduate Representative for the
Wells School of Music Student Advisory Board. I have recently completed my B.M. in
Music Education with a minor in Music Management Studies at the University of Delaware.
I am in my second year of pursuing a M.M. in Trumpet Performance, as well as serving
as the graduate assistant to the Department of Music Education here at WCU. Presently,
I have the pleasure of performing with the WCU Symphony Orchestra, Brass Ensemble,
and Trumpet Ensemble. Outside of WSOM, I hold the position of Assistant Conference
Director for the International Trumpet Guild and Operations Manager for A minor Tune
Up Trumpet & Brasswind Services, located in Wilmington, DE. I am thrilled to continue
to work alongside the SAB and the students of WSOM!
My name is Kevin Scheetz, and I am a junior Music Education major on trombone. In
addition to serving on the WSOM Student Advisory Board, I am the Warden for the Rho
Sigma chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. Other organizations I am a part of include
the Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band, Trombone
Ensemble, Well School of Music Ambassador, and NAfME. I am looking forward to working
with everyone in the Wells School of Music to make this school the best it can be!
My name is Morgan Turner and I am a member of the WSOM Student Advisory Board. I am
a sophomore Music Education and Flute Performance major. Along with being involved
with the SAB, I am a member of Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Band Service Fraternity as
well as other organizations including the Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band,
Wind Symphony, Women’s Chorus, and small chamber groups. I am excited to get to work
with this incredible group of individuals and make an impact on our school!
My name is Leanne Frist, and I am a senior Music Therapy major with a focus in voice.
I am the Recording Chair for the Student Advisory Board. In addition to serving on
the Student Advisory Board, I also serve as the Recording Chair for Sigma Alpha Iota,
a professional music fraternity for women. I am also involved in Under A Rest A Cappella,
and serve as their secretary. I look forward to working with you, the students of
the Wells School of Music, to make WCU a better learning environment for all of us!
