Below is a list of resources external to the University that Student Affairs members are encouraged to utilize to facilitate their learning and professional development.
- 10 Books About Race: Lists and briefly summarizes ten resources to learn more about racial injustice.
- About Campus: Bimonthly publication for educators who want to examine contemporary issues, policies, and practices that influence student learning in higher education. Available in print and web form to ACPA members.
- ACPA Graduate Prep Program Directory: Search through a database of over 100 graduate preparation programs related to higher education and student affairs.
- Assessment Best Practice Webinars: Baseline has curated a variety of free webinars on a wide range of assessment-related topics.
- Association of American Colleges & Universities: Offers a weekly email with recent news stories, publications and research, and events, conferences, and webinars related to liberal education and inclusive excellence.
- Chronicle of Higher Education, InsideHigherEd, University Business: Websites and publications that present news, information, and jobs for college and university faculty and administrators.
- Education Source: The largest and most complete collection of full-text education journals providing scholarly research and information to meet the needs of education students, professionals, and policy makers.
- Journal of College Student Development: JCSD, the largest and leading source of research about college students and the field of student affairs, publishes scholarly articles and reviews from a wide range of academic fields. This resource is free with individual ACPA membership.
- NASPA Online Learning Community: Explore hundreds of online courses from NASPA’s initiatives, programs, and events. Some courses are free and some offer a discounted cost to members.
- NASPA Policy and Advocacy: Provides overviews and updates on key federal and state policy conversations relevant to student affairs work.
- NASPA Policy Briefing Series: Free monthly online professional development opportunities provided on the last Thursday of every month from 2:30 to 3:00 p.m. Archived briefings can be found on the NASPA YouTube channel.
