Cultural Taxation Award
The Cultural Taxation Award is offered annually by the President to honor historically invisible and/or uncompensated, unassigned labor that supports historically underrepresented and at-risk members of the University community, including racial, ethnic, and religious minorities, women, veterans, and LGBTQIA individuals, and individuals with disabilities. Such work can include, but is not limited to, peer training & mentoring, service on multiple committees, and mentoring & student support. The Award is intended to honor individuals that have performed this often-overlooked work.
