To be considered, students must indicate their preference before June 1, 2026 for incoming students or when submitting your second-year housing application for currently enrolled first-year students.
Living Learning Community
The Academic Success Program (ASP) offers the opportunity to join our first and second-year Living Learning Community. The learning community consists of other ASP students living in one of WCU’s traditional residence halls. Participation in the learning community is optional, but it is a great way to maintain support and develop further relationships with ASP students and staff members.
Key Benefits of the ASP LLC
- Stronger sense of belonging: Living with other ASP students who you have already made connections helps students feel more connected to the campus community during the full time semester.
- Overall student development: Our LLCs blend academic, social, and co-curricular experiences that support the transition to college and overall personal development as a student.
- Increased engagement: Students are more likely to get involved in campus activities and utilize support services.
- Supportive transition to college: For first-year students, LLCs provide a structured, supportive environment that eases the transition to university life.
