Bio

Dr. Jacqueline Alnes is an assistant professor of English (Creative Writing) at West Chester University. Her first book, FRUIT CURE: The Story of Extreme Wellness Turned Sour, which details her experiences with a debilitating neurological condition and her subsequent fascination with a group of fruitarians who promised relief from symptoms, will be out with Melville House Fall 2023. Her essays have appeared in the New York Times, Guernica, Tin House, and elsewhere. She is a contributing writer at Electric Literature.
