Research

Ed holds a B.A. Philosophy from Rutgers University (1996) and an M.A. Philosophy from West Chester University (2008). His philosophical interests include the history of philosophy, ethics, political philosophy, and animals.  He is also interested in what evolutionary biology, psychology, history, sociology, and the arts can contribute to our understanding and improvement of the world. He regularly teaches World Philosophies, Introduction to Ethics, and Animal Ethics, and spends most of his free time in Philadelphia, in the woods, or at the beach.
