                Biography
Professor Megan Donnelly is the Information Literacy Librarian at West Chester University. In this role, she advocates for the strategic and holistic integration of information literacy into the curricula. Information literacy reflects the skillset used when researching and in any context where information is encountered. Historically, information literacy has not been integrated into the curricula in the same way other critical skillsets are and there is room for research in this area! Megan teaches information literacy instruction in courses and creates learning objects and opportunities for students and colleagues.
Megan grew up in West Chester, was a first generation college student, and attended a PASSHE institution, Millersville University, for undergrad. She decided to become a librarian because she was mentored by a librarian in undergrad. She is passionate about mentorship and PASSHE institutions as a result!
